Holiday classroom and craft ideas

Have students decorate their own Christmas trees for a shared bulletin board or classroom door. Arrange the shapes into a winter forest display, homemade garland, or seasonal party decorations.

Add the trees to greeting cards and gift bags, or write letters, numbers, and sight words on them to create festive flashcards and learning-game pieces. Use craft materials such as sequins or fabric to personalize each tree.

Great craft idea for outdoor decorating

The foam shapes are a wonderful craft for outdoor decorating at Christmas time. Elementary school children help us decorate a holiday tree in the park. The decorations withstand all kinds of weather.
We use sticky back foam pieces and permanent marker for decorating the shapes. Grateful for the wonderful staff at Creative Shapes!
